Welcome to SVWC
SVWC leadership is comprised of individuals who identified a need for the Smithson Valley High School wrestling team to have its own club/feeder program.
Our vision is to give every athlete a solid wrestling foundation, allowing them to hit the ground running in high school and have further success at all levels of wrestling. Outside of practice, our staff are more than happy to work with athletes on an individual basis, review competition film and/or offer private lessons (additional fee) to help in their development. Once your athlete attains a solid wrestling foundation, we would refer you to NB Elite for much more advanced training with more opportunities for competition and access to the ninth largest wrestling club in the nation!
Fundamentals
With home-grown wrestling championship knowledge and experience from the two states of Ohio and Calfornia, SVWC can gurantee your athletes will have the basics instilled in them; Our philosophy is that fundamentals win matches, as does conditioning. Here you will get a heavy does of both.
Quality Coaching
Head Coach Josh Warrick has over 20 years of coaching experience to include having coached 2 State Champions and 19 State qualifiers.
Assistant Head Coach Bryce Palmer has won multiple State titles and has twice-earned the even more prestigious title of All American.
